Pointe Vénus Lighthouse was where we spent our second morning in Tahiti. It has history with James Cook, Robert Luis Stevenson, and the mutiny on Bounty. It’s also a lovely spot to just walk around and later we heard from a friend that it’s a great place to see stingrays (we didn’t see any while we were there).

My husband and I met our freshman year at BYU-Hawaii so it was only too perfect to spend our 15th wedding anniversary on another Polynesian island this last January. Tahiti was so amazing! Our first day was spent checking out Fa’aruma’i Waterfall and the Water Gardens Vaipahi.

The Everglades were amazing to visit! I’m glad we did the alligator and boat experience this time, but next time I’d love to explore the actual National Park. But this was a great end to our trip. I’m glad we finally got to check out Florida and hopefully we can go back again someday!

Included at our time at Everglades Holiday Park was an airboat ride through the Everglades. The boat was super loud at times, but we had a great driver that warned all the guests before speeding up. We saw a ton of wildlife, including several alligators and overall had a good time. The boat was quite an experience! Have you ever ridden in one before?
