March 30, 2022

We loved Snow Canyon so much that we visited twice on our trip. There’s so much to see and explore there and I can’t wait to go back sometime. We visited two spots in the canyon: Sand Dunes and Jenny’s Canyon. … More Southern Utah with Kids | Snow Canyon

Pioneer Park is such a fun local spot here in Olympia. There are several trails that lead towards the river and my favorite takes us to a rocky beach right on the water. It’s the perfect spot to explore and skip rocks. In the summer it’s a popular spot to float down the river (or pick wild blackberries), but most of the year it’s pretty empty. Bonus: there’s a really great playground in the same parking lot!
We took the kids sledding over the weekend and had so much fun!
A little bit of a snow day for us!
Life has been a bit busy for us lately with all very “normal” things. Homeschool, work, extracurricular activities, all the day to day stuff has been filling a good amount of our time. Which is totally fine, but I am looking forward to a bit of travel next month. Do you have any Spring Break travel plans?
