More Lavender

“It is frightfully difficult to know much about the fairies, and almost the only thing for certain is that there are fairies wherever there are children.” ― J.M. Barrie

Evergreen Valley Lavender Farm has seriously become my favorite place to visit here in Olympia. We’ve now been more than once and we still aren’t tired of the beautiful fragrant lavender or of their charming fairy garden.

And now that we have these cute fairy wings that we bought from the gift shop, we just had to go back and be fairies in the flower fields.

Here are some of my favorites from our morning spent there:

This time we came home with a beautiful flower hair clip, some lavender hand soap, and some fresh lavender that I later dried and now have in vases in our living room.

We watched how to harvest lavender and loved bringing home a fresh bouquet with us.

Pretty happy about our new soap.

The lavender season is almost over, but Evergreen Valley Lavender farm is still open until August 13th. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and one place that we’ll be visiting over and over through the years.

“Fairies have to be one thing or the other, because being so small they unfortunately have room for one feeling only at a time. ” – J. M. Barrie, Peter Pan. Luckily, she was very happy all morning. 🙂
