Southern Utah with Kids | Pioneer Park

We spent 3 wonderful weeks in the southwest going from Southern California to Utah to Arizona.

We’re fortunate to have both family and friends in St. George and loved our time exploring the city and the surrounding nature.

One of the first places we explored was Pioneer Park and the Red Hills Desert Garden.

We loved walking through the gardens and seeing all of the native plants. They also have a place to view the fish coming through the stream and a replica slot canyon to walk through.

Behind the garden are tons of red rocks to climb and explore. We walked over to the arch and then the girls enjoyed going down a mini slot canyon as well.

It’s a beautiful and easy place to explore with kids. There’s still so many things for us to check out and we’re all excited to go back again someday!
