Brittany with Kids: Chateau de Fougeres

December 24, 2016

After seeing some wonderful megaliths the day before, we got our car all packed and headed back towards Paris with the idea that we would stop at Chateau de Fougeres on our way home. … More Brittany with Kids: Chateau de Fougeres

Pioneer Park is such a fun local spot here in Olympia. There are several trails that lead towards the river and my favorite takes us to a rocky beach right on the water. It’s the perfect spot to explore and skip rocks. In the summer it’s a popular spot to float down the river (or pick wild blackberries), but most of the year it’s pretty empty. Bonus: there’s a really great playground in the same parking lot!
We took the kids sledding over the weekend and had so much fun!
A little bit of a snow day for us!
Life has been a bit busy for us lately with all very “normal” things. Homeschool, work, extracurricular activities, all the day to day stuff has been filling a good amount of our time. Which is totally fine, but I am looking forward to a bit of travel next month. Do you have any Spring Break travel plans?
