Best Pumpkin Farms in Olympia, WA

Fall is my favorite time of year here in Washington! I love seeing all of the leaves changing colors, drinking lots of hot chocolate, and visiting all of the many pumpkin farms here in Olympia. We seriously are so lucky to have so many great local farms. Below are our favorites:

Best Overall Pumpkin Farm: Schilter Family Farm

Schilter Family Farm is pretty amazing as far as pumpkin farms go. Not only do they have a giant pumpkin patch, but they also have an entire Fall Festival that includes a corn maze, hayrides, play areas, visiting farm animals, hay mazes, and so much more. We love spending a morning or afternoon there and enjoying all the festivities. We’ve gone almost every year since we’ve moved here and love that it’s become one of our fall traditions.

Best Place to Buy Pumpkins: Ashley Creek Farm

Ashley Creek Farm is one of the area’s best kept secrets. It’s a local family farm that sells pumpkins, squash, garlic, and flowers. They have the best prices for pumpkins and we go every year to stock up on the many different varieties. One of the owners told us that Cinderella pumpkins make the best pumpkin pies and we’ve been making pies with their Cinderella’s ever since. Not only are the pumpkins extremely reasonably priced, but the farm itself is it such a beautiful, picturesque location. There are also several cows there that families can say hi to while feeding them bits of pumpkins.

Hunters Family Farm

Honestly, we’ve only been to Hunters Family Farm twice over the last several years, but it’s a super cute farm! They have a nice pumpkin patch, along with various activities like a hay maze and slide, a corn maze, and farm animals to say hello to. It’s a bit more low-key than Schilter’s and a nice place to spend an afternoon. Our girls especially loved the hay maze and all of the animals!

Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm

This is a cute local farm that’s a great spot to feed some animals all year long. They have goats, sheep, peacocks, chickens, and more and our kids always enjoy visiting. In the fall, they have a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, and games, but we especially love their apple donuts!

This really is such a beautiful time of year here in the Pacific Northwest. We love all of the fall traditions we’ve made since moving here and can’t wait to visit all of these farms again soon!
